Just remember some of the cheaper ones are more for show than protection, so are consequently thinner than Carbonadi ones.
Fingers crossed yours will be good,

Chris.

Exactly. I'm a member of the group now and looking at the photo they look a lot thinner than the Carbonardi ones. I doubt they would be very protective.

We'll see, I'll post close-ups and measurements when I get them. From the guy who makes them:

Super, thanks. If they are as good as the Carbonardi ones I'll have some myself.

They've arrived and look smart to me. I've no idea how thick the Carbonadi ones are but these are 2mm using my highly calibrated eye and plastic rule.

Yes - they DO look nice. But, whilst the generator cap hole is finished well, the timing hole looks fluffy, and could have been finished better... Not a put down for you, but more of a ''quality control'' from the person who made it.

A little bit of fibre-glass resin fed into the inside fluffy round edge, (and then folded back on itself), will seal it and finish it off - or, maybe ask for another one that is fully matted, sealed and smoothed, (which is what I would do if I bought it). At the price of them, you shouldn't really have to sort the niggles yourself!
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

I got my response really quickly. Within 24 hours? I can't remember exactly.
