Rear brake due for renewal

Well, the winter rebuild is under way. The rear pads are shot and the disk is also looking a little ridged. Any recommendation on new pads and disk? I'm thinking of using the OEM Honda pads and an EBC disk http://www.motorcycle-road-and-race.co. ... AhXE8P8HAQ

Recommendations?

Also, while I'm at it I need to order some taper roller bearing headstock bearings. Recomendations on those?

All Balls steering head bearings are meant to be good, plus these come with the seals as a kit:-

Yeah, agree with the above All Balls bearings, EBC or OEM disc and definitely OEM standard pads, people under estimate the Honda standard pads, I think they're excellent for road use

Plus, found some Brembo rear pads (07HO36SP sintered) in my spares box. Just the jobbie.

INFO in this link on how to fit tapered steering head bearings, you can't use the torque figures in the workshop manuals as you would for standard ball bearing type bearings:-

Thanks Mick, I should get my wheel back from Jonny today with a nice new BT016 on it. I'll properly check the rear disk and see what state it's in,

Got the wheel back today with a shiny new tyre. Disk thickness is 4.8mm to 5.2mm standard. Seems a very large tolerance for a new part! Service limit is 4.0mm. Mine's 4.38mm. Good for another year I'd say.
