On the sidestand, I often find the bike leans too far over. Or, if I'm parked on a dirt car park, nervous about the stand sinking...If I lived down south, I could also include hot tarmac causing a tip over, but on the North East coast, that's not something we have a problem with..

So I bought a hockey puck, cut a ledge into it, and hey presto! Got myself an extra half inch of lift, and a more solid base for those dodgy surfaces!
Big benefit is that coz it's small and round it slips easily in to my bike jacket pocket, just drop it to your left as you pull up then flick it under the stand...simples!

Now there are loads of these on E Bay for around 2 quid....so no excuses on cost. If you can't be bothered to DIY, PM me and I'll chop one up for you and post it to you, just PM me. I reckon £8 should cover it. But it really is a 2 minute job.
