Re: BHP Figure
the induction noise was very addictive. it needed decent forks and shock to be honest. my mate bought a 2003 R1 it was quicker that that.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I read somewhere that Kawasaki were into helmholtz chambers. For no other reason than to sound good. I dunno if my 07 zx6 had em, but it sure sounded good. The airbox noise was so good, and loud, that you didn't need a fancy can for fun. Addictive, as you say.bigtwinthing wrote:the induction noise was very addictive. it needed decent forks and shock to be honest. my mate bought a 2003 R1 it was quicker that that.

I was at the Donington round of the 1993 WSBK championship and will never forget the bone-tingling shrill emitted by Scott Russell's Muzzy-tuned ZX7R... incredible!

I thought realistically that Storm do about 105bhp max without modding and about 109bhp with K and N and jets. surely 112 at the wheel aint do,able is it. Mr Mon would know i am sure as he has tried most things ( ooer does that sound bad?) ( with braces on though eh!)

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
