Rossi's appeal

Post by alanfjones1411 »

So Valentino lost his appeal and i just cannot believe that the officials have not picked up on the fact that all riders have brake guards fitted and he was ahead at all times when the incident happened. If Rossi gets up to M.M. will his conscience get the better of him and give V.R.a clear run? IMHO Marquez must be just about the most hated man in G.P. if he realises that then maybe he'll let him go.Rant over. :Argue 1:

The way I read it the penalty was for causing the clash rather than the crash.

rossi has to finish at least 2 places behind lorenzo to win the title

i aint being funny rossi will be up about 4-6 places by the first corner and upto at least 10th by a couple of laps in...

and im sure a few people will give respect and not give him a hard time in getting past... it will be battle to get through

if he gets up it will be a battle... thats for sure

agree - it's going to be very interesting to see how the riders react to the "main guys" throughout the race - reckon it'll be another amazing race
(especially if front runners push each other to keep distance from Rossi, trip each other up, reduce overall speeds, few crashes....)

As you can imagine it must cost millions to run a bike and team for a season, I doubt team members and sponsors would be happy letting anyone through without a fight.

I agree , this will be the most intriguing race for ages.

I reckon Lorenzo will be the champ by tomorrow tea time. even if he comes across as a bit up himself you cant say he,s not one hell of a rider

i agree super smooth, shite attitude, can't handle any pressure, when all is going well great ,apart from that a tw@. he would have won millions of fans just by keeping his mouth shut about the MM and VR incident. It was feck all to do with him.

I think his main appeal is that he's got a cheeky grin and still looks enthusiastic about racing and winning.
He's flying the flag for older racers- if he does another year he'll be sponsored by Saga and a cruise company.

Although, I think that he has over-priced his "46" branded apparel.
Personally I buy "64" badged stuff and wear it backwards.
I tried "T9" tee shirts worn upside down, with a felt tip line to finish the four, but that wasn't as legible, or comfortable and the draft got in while riding.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
