I thought the stopped mod was the same as in stripping down and taking out the ccts:|

There's not as much to strip down. Only the rear cam cover needs to be removed to verify timing and the fuel tank and airbox removed to gain access to the front CCT. Rear CCT can accessed without removing anything. The worst part of the stopper mod is getitng the roll pin out and then back in.

If you end up needing help, try me on 07951 408194 and I will do it with you. I have done the stpper mod on mine with a little apprehension that was unwarranted. I was fussy and ground my stoppers with great and probably unrequired accuracy. I live in Caerphilly, so its just up the road from you.
