Manual Cam Chain Tensioner Installation Guide (MCCT's)
Re: Manual Cam Chain Tensioner Installation Guide (MCCT's)
See the post above yours.
I wouldn't panic, ride the bike an enjoy it, but do something about the cct's sooner rather than later. A failure is something that can happen without any prior warning signs and mileage is irrelevant. You may develop a rattle, you may not.

I am a complete novice and have followed this by the letter! one proud little gerbil here, job done running sweet and time for a well earned brew!!
Fantastic right up!!
Fantastic right up!!

Well thank you very much sir, and well done to you.
I bet you feel a sense of achievement now. It's good to know that even a complete novice (as you put it) can follow the guide with no issues. Brew up then, time for the TT..... one for and one for me.

Nothing like a good brew!
Re: Manual Cam Chain Tensioner Installation Guide (MCCT's)
Ok.
My tensioners have arrived.
Is there any one out there willing to either do the job for me, or watch over me whilst I do the swap.
Come to me(Rochdale), or I can come to yours,
Payment for your time will be made.
Thanks.
Roger

I'm definitely going to have a go as the instructions here are very comprehensive.
Having done a full service now my confidence is growing and as soon as my bike lift is free I'll start taking bits off !!!!
