Damn! I've only just noticed it's a weekend earlier this year. I was planning (if I have a bike by then) to tie it in with our family trip to Wales like I did before. Need to think about this now as 1) I'm booked on a paid MTB event, and 2) more time away from family.

Dag nammit. I'll gt back to you soon Phil.

camp site in hawes?

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/revie ... revid=2599

map of sites round settle, I think red is just camping and basic facilities, green is a bigger site with lost of hardstanding for caravans. this is a list filtered to have a bar food within 1mile of camp

Also a big camp site in Horton on Ribblesdale. That's looking promising to me.

Phil mentioned Settle, just having a look and Langcliffe caravan park looks good http://www.langcliffe.com/index.htm, as there are plenty of B&B nearby. and also Knight Stainforth Hall http://www.knightstainforth.co.uk/.
