unfortunately I am selling my VTR! When i got it I was happy with it however since I have started taking the girlfriend out more and the engine braking isnt great so going to give another bike ago! probably an oldskool suzuki! im young enough to be able to get one again in the future if I want one back! :)

Glws mate, but you ain't going to get much better engine braking than a storm :?

I meant I want less engine braking ;) :p

I have the same problem with my other half, she hates the engine braking thus ending up on my seat or head butting me in the back, so my solution is to get another bike, like sprots tourer ie FJ, BMW K series, FZ1.

i solved the problem by fitting a seat hump and not bringing the wife, seems to work fine :clap:
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:
