I was gutted and down when i herd the news yesterday, i was on the bike at the time using my new intercom thing and happened to have the radio on when they announced it

I was brought up on the Young Ones and Bottom as a child and regularly watch Bottom most nights on Netflix or DVD when going to sleep to a young child Bottom was wombles amazing the crazy sh1t they did with the slapstick

ive watched guest house paradso more times than i care to remember, all the live shows, drop dead fred and most other things he did other than that recent comedy ive yet to see that one

truly gutted :(

A great bloke, very funny guy, i loved Kevin Turvey and he only went on to better things. A sad loss.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I was quite shocked to hear about this yesterday. A great fan of Rik Mayall, The Young Ones and Bottom being my favourite's. As with so many of his fans, his sense of humour just clicked with me from the very first time I watched him on TV.

RIP Rik,

Chris.
