what have you done to your "bike" today
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Well what a feckin day ive had, Sunday I Sold a vfr 800 on ebay for 2k, bank transfer all good and courier arranged to pick it up today so, I booked the day off, got the bike out for collection this morning and................. the kin neighbour backed in to it knocking it over, she was trying to avoid the wheelie bins that were ready for collection, mirror, bar end, silencer, rear peg, mud guard, fork are all damaged. Had to call the buyer to let him know it wasn't happening, he was very good about it but the courier had set off and the buyer had changed his insurance over.
Cut a long story, neighbour is stumping up for parts, the courier and any costs, and I have agreed to use used spares to keep it simple as she really is a good neighbour ' Oh well, that's the storms upgrades on hold until I get this sorted.

Now that's a shitter :-(
When I sold my t80 the bloke came to look at it and bought it paid cash £350 and asked me to follow him back to deliver it .
So I did and got knocked of 2 miles later it was fecked and I just walked away without injury .
The guy who knocked me off have me £500 there and then to keep it away from police and insurance so I took it :-)
The guy that paid for the t80 wasn't happy so I said I'll give him £200 to have it back as it was damaged and we settled on £300 !
So there I was £550 up and rang the breakers up who have me another £100 for it :-) £650 in my pocket in stead of £350 !

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
