For the attn of Mik_str

Post by gl_s_r »

Is this any good for you as I think you're from around that part of the world?

Not quite sure what is going on as the description is vague but it may be a stage 2 build if it's 140 at the rear wheel as claimed?

Still try to figure out why he has a lap timer on it but never raced it?

Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?

Bloody hell mark, you spread your net far and wide, is it just me, or have several parts been lock wired?
Had to imagine 140 bhp on a road going storm.

He better have some serious internal work if he really has 140 hp (at the back wheel anyhow).... I think the chap was/is a member of the superhawkforum..... could be an interesting scoop for someone though teh stock forks and brakes would have to go......

If it's as good as the advert says, it should be quite some ride :)

I don't know what the exchange rate is but it could be bit overzealous on the pricing. 10k spent, 1000 for a seat 8O and then asking 6500 for it. And what's that about only 12 Black ones in Canada.

I have about that number in my road bike... And there is just about nothing stock left inside that engine, and it didn't make anywhere near that with just cams and jets, even with the updated tensioners... So I highly doubt that claim is true...

I'll pay his asking price and shipping if it makes 140 rear wheel HP on my shops Dyno Jet Dyno.... ..Otherwise, I'll offer him a standard Used SuperHawk, in good condition price of $2500 or he can pay for return shipping.....

I seem to remember stock cases and crank being a serious issue at or above 120 RWHP???

And Rare solo seat option?? no such thing.... same with the lower.. both simply aftermarket items added on.. nice enough.. but the implied claim that they were "options" as in from the factory.. umm, no..

Nor were black SH imported to CAN "rare"

Not really, but all the same, that amount of parts doesn't make that power, period...

Cranks snap due to aggressive cams (as per Roger).... it`s not the power levels in and of themselves. To reiterate what I said earlier (and in agreement with Markus), he needs much more than a jet kit, a full exhaust and Mori cams to get to those kinds of numbers..... trust me, if that`s all it took, mine would be well over 140 hp, and it`s not......

It must be an absolute pig to handle if the suspension is still stock with those dubious claims of BHP.
