Hopefully
I'm not in a big rush to get done but, would be nice to get the frame back on.
Tony, if I bring my bike to you when it's back together would you help me check valve clearances? Or is it best done now while my rocker covers are off?
Can do, it'll be spring when I next hold a workshop day, though.
Best done now, while you can see them. All you need is a set of metric feeler gauges, you don't need the kinked ones really.
Just measure the gaps, inlets are .13.to.19, exhausts are .29 to .34, but the hardest part of the job is getting the crank end cover off!
If you measure them I'll tell you what shims you need.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
