Get a guarantee of cash back if they are not straight if you buy second hand. I have bought three sets and they were all warped when they went on the bike. They are fickle things, I don't think anyone has done it on purpose, old discs can be ok on a bike, get took off and sit around for a while and when they go on they are not right.

YES! And VERY much appreciated it too. Sorry if my post came over wrong, it wasn't a dig at anyone offering discs on this topic or anything (I just reread it and realised it came over the wrong way)

And, I have gone over the wheels with a fine tooth comb. Cleaned the mating faces, there is no burr or marks of any sort, no damage to the wheel anywhere. When you put the discs on the wheel, you can measure the warp. 3 different sets of discs have all given totally different amounts of warp on the mot machine from 40% fluctuation down to 20% so it's not 3 perfect sets on a duff wheel.

Anyway, my point is that it is impossible to guarantee they are good till they are on the bike and tested, so I would still buy sh discs if the seller would guarantee they are straight and offer to take them back if not. Personally, I would not SELL any discs as I think it's too high risk.
