Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually an idiot, and I do have some good moments

Running? Pfft. Effort  I would make a comment about a zimmer frame but I've done it too many times already.

Lucky me, I'm living in it. The Baronnies, south of France. A whole range of fabulous roads within reach. If I had to put my finger on just one route then the 60km from Nyons to Serres will do. Half through narrow gorges, half sweeping round the contours of 4000' mountains. And just 15 minutes from home. :D

Oh yeah, and miles of forest tracks for the TTR!

West coast, Thurso-Ullapool was a Sunday run for years, all of the West coast, once you get past the GWS and the idiots round there, hit the road to Skye and up north, amazing, and in the UK.
May need to carry some spare fuel, or plan ahead though!
