The first one gives a nice boost across the board, as opposed to the second which essentially raises top end only.... that, for me, makes it a no-brainer.....

I wouldn't just go by the dyno graphs they could have been Photoshoped for all we know as a sales pitch. Marketing malarky.

it did cross my mind but then i thought must be fairly honest as if you was going to make them up you would have made the more expensive product look the best on the dyno, or at least i would have done but they showed the cheaper pipe outperforms the expensive one all through the rev range and has more top end too

the only thing thats selling the top of the line can to me is that noise it makes and the fact its still 100% street legal

Wondering if i can just disable the valve in my existing exhaust and have it held in the fully open position?

Not sure i'll have a look as i want to go on holiday and a new can would mean lots less money for holidays

I would think that the default setting on the valve is open, to check you'd need to remove the cables and have a look in the pipe to see if it's open.

true, but it`s the same company, so you tend to think they would be consistent..... I could see that argument being valid if comparing between two different companies, however,.....

I've not been a member of this forum long, so I believe I'm not allowed to post adverts yet. But I know that I will have a pair of VTR1000 Akrapovic cans soon, and they will be available for sale in the next two weeks. Second hand but vgc.

I'll be putting them on ebay, as you might expect, but if you're interested in them maybe let me know.

Is that allowed within the rules of the forum? I don't want to upset anyone, but I'm just replying to the post in my own way??

To Admin - Please just delete this post if it's breaking the rules - i really don't want to upset the apple cart. :D

The pipe in question is for a GSXR1000, not firestorm. I'm sure your pipes will appear on here in the ebay thread when you list them
