Rectifier fried itself ordered 1 but put an end to my weekend of v twin action

Hope you ordered a later upgraded finned version or even a CBR125 version? Plus check the battery in case it also got fried.

ordered the modified version think the battery is ok had to ride back with no charge going into battery rectifier disconnected :thumbdown:

Sounds like you got lucky without damage to other components, is the modified you ordered is a MOSFET rectifier?

Fuse did its job by the look of it won't fully know until new ones fitted and I test everything

Got it out the garage and started it up just to cheer myself up.. I regret this decision already :thumbdown:

No I just have an almost impossible to resist urge to take it out :( Especially since I haven't ridden in almost a month

We've got the new hornet front end and we're fitting it on Tuesday (while I'm at work and unable to help :thumbup:). Seller said it's definitely from a 1998 600 model, so it should fit as I still have the 16 inch front wheels :) Fingers crossed or I'm gonna start going insane

Both of them. So I'm taking it out Tuesday night, even though my wallet will hate me, just to make sure all is well before I go Hatton on Wednesday.. :p And he's not my little brother :lol: :lol:

had a little blast thru london to see carl the spanner monkey, bloody tourists and weekend drivers..... :thumbdown:
not to mention scooter riders with a death wish, it does make me laugh when they get out of your way at traffic lights. 1000cc alpha male coming thru, get out of my way!!!!!!!!
