I wanna get some money from it!!! thinking of selling it onto a friend, but gonna put some work into it first because although the only major issue is the forks right now it does need a bit of tlc and I don't want it to die

i ride with lights on all the time and short journeys stop start through town ect ect
That would do it then over a period of time. But 13v is a little low and you should see it rise when the light are switched off. But as you say it a shitty volt tester, fingers crossed it's just a bad reading, but keep an eye on it.

Went out on mine again today :D I do like finishing at 14:30 every other week, has its advantages   Found a nice little road close to me that I have never been down today, result, and managed to get my front wheel up a little over a hump back bridge. Unfortunatly I chickened out and didnt keep it up

fitted a renntec rear carrier and givi top case, on reading the instructions i was disappointed to read Note 1 THIS PRODUCT CAN ONLY BE USED WITHOUT THE PILLION SEAT COVER. I like the pillion seat cover and want to keep it on the bike so with very little fiddling the seat and cover was back on  well pleased with it  easy job done, there`s just a nack of getting the seat to fit !.

You can always fit a different reservoir, see Rizoma's little beauties....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Yeah, that's what I was nudging towards. Nothing wrong with striving to make the bike run as economically as possible for the sake of the planets dwindling supply of fossil fuels! Yeah right!!!!
