Drag racing on salt would be funny.
Extra points for how deep you dug the rear in.....
It's odd, but all of those bikes looked like they'd go a damn sight faster on the M20 down Detling Hill towards Maidstone.
Perhaps the salt robs you of traction, and the altitude robs you of power.
Either that or they party hearty the night before.

If you haven't seen it. "Worlds fastest Indian" Great film based on the true story of Burt Munroe. Well worth watching

I felt sorry for the guys with the home made engine that had the blower go,
and surprised at how rough the salt surface was, it must make for some bad vibrations.
