this is what I want to try and do with the braced swingarm over the winter. boxing in the normal 929 brace to get a beter rigidity and also to make it look more like the modern race bikes.

My project is to get both wheels Painted / powder coated as they are looking a bit scabby now. Then give the bike a proper clean up.

a few minor changes to mine over the winter.....
remove std rear caliper and fit underslung gixxer one.
change fuel tank.
change exhaust.
change carb(s).
respray.
fit single n/s pannier from a suzuki GZ125.

start new bike project. harley evo 1340 turned to face forwards like a guzzi, running thru a 2cv clutch and gearbox, 330-17 rear tyre.

I have considered hard and long what to do to my bike this winter.

I've finally made a decision. I'm going to plug it into the optimate
'02 VTR1000-FY Yellow.
'12 Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE Tenni.

1. Get a decently paying job
2. Fix the clutch grab problem.
3. Work out how to install variable stacks, make and fit them, then
4. Dyno it until it's right.

That'll do for winter, I'll think of something else come Spring.
:D
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Unless.... I find that Cafe Racer project, or a 7R to do up....

Tony - that'd do me - I've been looking for work in the Midlands for 4 years now - the commuting and living in digs does my head in - and such a struggle for P to cope - she doesn't have the best of health......
