prospective new owner wants advice

Post by Martin »

:?: Help! I'm about to part with some of my hard earned for a (pref post 2001) Firestorm. Does anyone have any advice and opinions about the bike that I might find usefull????? Anything such as common faults/problems (if any) would be handy.

Cheers,
Martin.

Only things I can think of;

If over 16k make sure it has had its valve clearance service.
Might be worth asking if the suspension linkages have ever been serviced.

Apart from that go and purchase a yela one - they are much quicker :wink:

Get one now fella......makes me smile almost as much as an LC !
Pre-2001 bikes are much more sociable.....you get to meet more young ladies in petrol stations ! :?
