What should I do next?

Post by dukes7 »

Hi, Got a 99 Storm with Scorpions, Lowers. Hugger and some trick little flashers. However I,ve got a little ( that is little!!) cash to spend for the season. What would be the best buys? Smaller front sprocket? After 13k what about a new shock?(expensive?) what would a K&N filter bring? or some crash bungs? Prefer performence/handling tips.My riding style I like to think is reasonably quick and smooth on real roads with the odd track day thrown in. p.s my mates have R1,s/Blades and Gixers. the Storm still shows the way! :?

After a shed load of money being thrown at my storm ( by the previous owner ) the best performance mod has been the £12.00 spent on a 15 tooth front sprocket. All the previous threads seem to suggest the best handling mod you can do is to spend a few hundred quid if youve got it, with Roger at revolution racing.

I can also reccommend Darren @ MCTechnics if your in Anglian region.

He like Roger used to race them and like Roger is helpful and will only sell you what you need, including new rearshock from £250.00

If you have not done the forks, do them, it works wonders...
