But the necessary mod to fit an oval section to the header of the system could adversely affect gasflow, it's hard to predict what would be effective and what might not.
What you nead is some kind of windtunnel or some kind of gasometer  and yeh all that lovely oil and the smell of petrol, love it

Go on Seb, lend him your pipes
Thought about buying some myself but unsure of this no brand name make stuff as far as stopping me at silly speeds goes...anybody tried them??
Hong Kong discs, I would not trust them. From what Iv'e heard they tend to not last long and warp easily. I would rather get good used OM ones. And if I could afford it Galfer's or Brmbo's  I would expect to pay around the 320mark just for fronts.

an oval section wouldnt adversely effect it. have you ever seen the old micron serpentine manifolds? i think the idea is to have a kind of venturi effect, bringing the faster moving air through the core and dragging the outer slower gasses with it

edit: what you need is a flow bench or all this testing and development is for nothing

Same as mine.....
It's a good price, considering that ring sets are nearly £50 each....
But then the exchange rate to dollars isn't too bad at the moment.

As long as the bores are in good nick, all you need to buy is a full bearing set, get the bores lightly honed, and four new big end bolts.

Might as well fit a new set of valve seals while you're there, and all good for another 50K.

You should get an easy 110-115 BHP, plus torque gains.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
