What is the best remedy for the failing chrome on the oil pipes at the front of the engine, that go up to the oil cooler? apart from the obvious of buying new pipes.

Some options,

1. Replace them with braided hoses
2. Sand down and hammerite them

3. Try a breakers for some cleaner ones
4. Fit bellypan and front plate to hide them
5. Remove them and get them re-chromed

buy my supa dupa oil cooler with QD release fittings, all goodridge and braided with a larger oil cooler that mounts off the front cylinder, and then be slightly poorer but have about Â£800 to Â£1000 worth off cooler/hoses/connectors on ya bike and have a cooler running engine.
