I've been Roger'd!

Post by Fester »

Just wanted to let anyone out there 'thinking' about visiting Roger at RevolutionUK to DO IT, as I've just had my front done (new springs etc) and he fitted a Penske shocker that I had bought off Ebay 8)

It's true, it does transform the bike (I was dubious), and it is now as sharp as anything I've ridden (and I don't get slung out the feckin seat every time a bump appears on the road!)

Yea, great job, not cheap, but money well spent as I can now enjoy riding the bike whereas before I found it a (literally) pain

Ta Leepy

I paid £250 as I took the bike to him (160 miles up the M5/M6, which was fine in the morning, but a nighmare later in the day! :x ); alternatively you can send them to him through the post and pay £199, including return postage.

Fester: I take it Roger set your forks up for you after the rework, what preload rebound setting are you running?

I have just set mine up according to the Gospel of Roger and it feels great, I really just wanted to get a comparison to what I have got.

BazilD

Preload is 5 rings visible, rebound is 1.5 turns OUT from fully IN - that's for the rebuilt forks, with RaceTech springs etc
