for got to say, dont give me into trouble for this.

when i replaced starter & wire.where the wire meets all the other wires on left hand side, just behind front fairing & are all tied with big tie wrap.i didnt have big enough one to replace.so i pulled the cable through from the starter side.the end of the wire with red bit on from solinoid.i had to yank it hard to get through.i then just tie wraped new cable to outside of the others.

might i off dislodged or ripped open other wires.dont know what else is bundled up there.think it was ok,but you never know.

Possible, but only way is to pull the fairing off and have a good look, better yet meter them.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

update.

all fairings off.

took all wires, earths etc of cleaned & sprayed off back end off bike.

just looking @ front end wiring.was away to undo all the wires that come from left of handlebars, all the wires from headlights, indicators, etc.well the water was just pouring out off the casing that holds all the wires from the left handlebar mount to the connections.i mean it was running down & still is,lol.

just away to clean it all out.will see if that helps.

right.

sprayed all the wires with good water dispalce spray
& on the inside of the switches.

now i also sprayed the conection from the front coil.

i got a bang & she fired up.reved for a few minutes then cut out,but started again ok.

will it be the switches, wires or the coil connection.

can i now drive 70miles or should i let dry out.

thanks steve.

ps think that indicator incident was a sign.
