tyre pressures

Post by RAINMAKER »

Just bought BT 010 as a pair, previously had D207's (6,700 from the rear)
ran them at F36 R42

What pressure are BT 010 best at?

Cheers Paul.
it may be clever, but its not big.

Under pressure

Hi Paul

I ran the 010's and now the 014's at 36/42. I noticed a loss of grip in the wet when pressure was down (contrary to popular myth), especially on the 010's.
I ride way too fast to worry about cholesterol.

Cheers, thanks for the advice, was begining to think no0one was going to answer. By the way how do the 014's compare with the 010 ?

Paul

I prefer them to the 010's. They seem much more planted, Never had a problem with 010's but the moment I got the 014's on, I became Valentino! I think the slightly deeper curve makes you feel more secure when the bike's heeled over and they work brilliantly in the wet. Had many a moment which would have had me off on my old VFR (with 020's) and the storm just stayed on a dry line.

Guess might try them next, let me know how the miles stack up.
