Yes I think it will.
your bike will the old R/R which is just potted housing with no heatsink fins - these are liable to overheat........which is probabaly why you are looking for a replacement.

This is a newer style R/R with metal case and fins. From what I have read they have been reliable, so this would be a good solution for an old storm.

Most of us have used an R1 / R6 / Diversion R/R which is also finned, but we have to remove the terminals from the connector shell to connect to the standard wiring harness on the storm. with this honda part I imagine you can plug it straight in.

for £20 I would go for it

Go for it, I paid £70 for a new one exactly the same as that one.It plugs straight in, and is a massive improvement from the original one that had no heatsink fins.

definately go for it, i just paid 55 for the same type, genuine honda, and i can tell the difference already, proper crips starts all the lights including dashboard are brighter
