Hi - soon to be a Firestorm owner....

Post by cliveyandrews »

Hi guys, just introducing meself, I don't have me Firestorm yet - but hoping I will in the next few weeks...

To cut a long story short - I'm waiting on a compo cheque after breaking my back after crashing my ZX7R into a bus that pulled out in front of me..... No witnesses, so I got a crap settlement, and a lot of debt while I waited to get it.

So - with a budget of £3k, and the need to ride something that won't cripple me anymore than I am (2 vertebrae removed, and a Titanium cage in it's place, plate in me arm and a dodgy spleen) the Firestorm will be my choice... (mid divorce too - and my girlfriend lives 150 miles away)

I'm hoping for an Orange paintjob, if not yellow - and it will get b8stard loud exhausts, pref hi level....

Hopefully as I learn some about the bike I can offer contributions back to the group...
(I know what gives I mod the ZX7R group, http://redmonkey.com/7r - and being the owner of a 1977 Suzuki GT550B I own and run the website and forum there too http://www.gt550.com )

Cheers
S&F

Welcome aboard cliveyandrews :!: :D

It sounds like you're very fortunate to still be with us.
I enjoyed having a scan through the gallery on your GT550 forum. Some crackin strokers there. I still remember what they sound like :)

Step right up and chip right in.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
