Just into the second week of my new job.
Pays great, but a 50 mile each way commute on the M25 in the rush hour.
Since when did it get to be common practice for cars not to pull out of the fast lane, but to squeeze nearer the barrier, so that you had to undertake them?
Filtering at 70-80 seems to be the norm now, motorway plod don't give you a second glance, and the variable speed limits seem to be ignored at anything up to +20mph.
No-one indicates to change lane, and many of the cars have their mirrors folded back to avoid clipping them on other traffic.
No bloody wonder they don't see me until after I've cleared them!
Still, at least I'm using the bike; after six month's probation I get a co car, which will double the one-hour journey time each way.
But at least I can have a snooze when the traffic stops.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
