I think we should head North and visit a man who is at the moment going through an extremely tough time. Anyone who lives near Zero that could point out a decent route?

Plus I would like to do the Dales this weekend ....come on Graeme and Queensbury L lets roll!

I would be interested in the trip North. I need an excuse to get back up that way on my bike, and would be good to put a few faces to the names on here.

Would need to fit the dates round Music Festivals [going to see the Damned and Joe Jackson at Cornbury in July], Bike trip to Brittany with a load of off duty bike coppers [next door neighbour is a bike escort copper, and he has invited me along for the crack, I will report back on how they cope with black visors, V-twin race cans and "making progress"], School holidays, the yet to be planned summer holiday, the wifes hidden agenda for DIY projects.............And it would help if we can align the trip with the 2 dry days that make up the Scottish summer.

So, I am felxible!!!!

We had the scottish summer last weekend when we got married, been raining almost every day this past week.
My vote would be for Marty, he had said he'd try and arrange a party, so we just need a few dates big man and a load of us will turn up. Nik and i might try and get down this coming week as i'm still off till next monday.

Definitely up for that.
I can offer to host the Sarf end of the UK one if that's any use?

Big enough garden for half a dozen tents, oil drum barbie for eats and I happen to have a mobile disco, so it won't be quiet!
(but I do have a cat, and doves, so if you're allergic give us a shout and I can sort out an indoors kip).

Plenty of good rideout routes around here as well.

However, I was sorta planning to drop by Zero's once the date was out, (work permitting, as I heard about 1/2 an hour ago that the second interview I went for went rather well and I have been offered a job) :plainsmile

So I might just be able to get to both.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Should we not wait till Norma and Marty get themselves sorted out and not try to hurry them along for an invite? Of course, if their ready then so am I :D

Towards the end of last year an Ayrshire meet was mentioned. We could extend that a bit to include the borders as well?

How about a meet in Lincolnshire, near Louth/Cadwell?

I've got enough room for about 12>15 tents in my garden and enough parking space for 400+ bikes (I ain't joking) if that's any use to anyone.
I'm about 15 miles south of Swindon,

I know the feeling, trying to organise the troops up this end to agree on when we are leaving for Knockhill on 5th of July.
excuse no1 My tax has run out.
no2 My Mot has expired.
no3 My insurance has expired.
No 4 It might be wet (in 2007 it was like the british jet ski championships all the way down and back).
No 5 I don't know if i will bother. (No they would rather drive up and down the local high street).
No 6 I'll need to see what the Wife says :whatever .

I am quite happy to head down jimmyland direction (south of the Castlecary Arches) as any further north for you N of E gadgies is a bit of a treck for a weekender.

Cheers

A.M.

ps Mike, I keep looking on the sp site for a cheap sp1 that anybody might be desperate to part with but no joy ( your tumble weed would go down well there as well  )
