Hi all
This may sound obvious but.....................
I've noticed my gearchanges have become clunkier , and last night I was struggling to get it back into gear after pulling up at T-Junctions ( had to push it into the kerb at one point and STAMP on the lever )
Would you say the clutch is on the way out ? and is it an adjustable type?
I'm asuming the adjuster on the clutch lever is for " span " only
The bikes only done 8,500 miles , I don't do clutchless changes or wheelies ( although obviosly I could if I wanted to )
I do tend to use the engine braking a bit , I'm told , and come down the box fairly rapidly
How much would be fair to pay for a new clutch fitted , IYO ??
Thanks
Stu

you should be able to see in the resevoir, it only holds a nats piss of fluid, if it's empty then ya have a problem, a leak somewhere, check the slave cylinder for leaks. I would bleed it anyway to eliminate that. The clutch condition should not effect what you are describing unless the bearing that the push rod locates on to inside the clutch has collapsed but you would probably hear that.
