Wheels are done !!

Post by dodds »

Hi, i have just got my wheels back from the spray shop and i have to say they look the dogs  . I have posted a few pics in the misc gallery but they dont really do them justice. They are a deep red with a slight pearl fleck in them, i will post some more pics when they are on the bike.

that quilt is some colour!

The wheels are pretty loud too!

Can't wait to see them on the bike.

Maybe some red tyres to match?

Very nice indeed.

I've got a red storm and i've been thinking about getting the wheels painted up.

how much did it cost? and what kind of spray shop do you take them to? e.g. normal car bodywork spray shop etc?

also, will the paint corrode off over time?

Hi, i took them to a paint shop that mostly does bike work, they cost £115 and as for the finish they are painted with a clear coat on top, it looks pretty tough but as the guy at the shop said if you are going at 90 and stone hits the rim it is likely to chip but other than that they should be ok, i'm well pleased with the finish anyway !!! :D .
