Block connector R/R

Post by mjvw »

Have subframe off, so checking wiring have notice the 3 yellow wires R/R connector block under seat in plastic cover are a little scorched ok at R/R end, would like to cut back the scorched wire and fit a new connector block. After reading most of the R/R posts the 3 yellow wires can be connected anyway?
But what block connector would this one work?
https://kojaycat.co.uk/epages/950000457 ... 3W-CNA-WHT

Everything is working as expected charging ok, it/s 2002 f2 finned type R/R.

So many questions just wish I had the answers, but this forum always has.

As Mac says, anyway around for those three yellow wires from the alternator is fine.
As for the new connector block, it states it's meant for alternator use so I'm guessing it should be fine, plus it shows on Kojaycat's site one for a Fireblade using the same size terminals. You'll just need a crimping tool :)
