Reminds me of my greatest ever idea to express-cook eggs in the microwave.
Spoiler alert: they exploded with a huge noise and spilled allover the microwaves inside surfaces.
Since that happened it was even more difficult to sneak past my wife to get near that damn machine :-)

I use my gas stove with cartridge propane but in winter it doesnt gas off properly so its best to heat it up a bit, rather than faffing about with boiling a kettle to pour boiling water over it, I just microwave the camping gas aerosol can.
This also works for paint rattlecans.
And for a good tip in winter after riding, break the door off your microwave and then you can stick your hands in, I find 1/2 power for 51/2minutes does the trick.

Ps I once got extreme burns on my face and hands after microwaving a baked potato on full power for 5 mins..without forking the skin first.. it exploded in my hand and flung superheated potato everywhere, like,,,really superheated..
