What should the idle speed be?
1200 ish?
Mine's about 16/1700.
I've heard a few big V twins with high tickover speed and kind of assumed that's just how this type of bike was?

Mine was always set 1100/1200.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

jesus thats high :eek2 get it away down to around 1.2k. they seem happy at 12/13 thou.
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:

Yeah,feared it was maybe masking some serious problem ........
Garage lowered it too much,kept cutting out.
Now have it about 1400 .....
