Draining fuel tank

Hi guys. I need to drain the fuel tank but don't want to syphon from the filler cap. I'm assuming I can drain via the petcock but have no idea how to do it. Any help appreciated

16 0r 19ltr ?

16 is syphon only unless you can put a vacume on the petcock & have pipes attached to the outlet's draining into your container...You could do that by sucking on the vac pipe but its gonna take you a long time...

19ltr just pull the fuel pipe off the petcock & it will flow out.

I syphon by using a lrg syring to do the sucking on a a small bore pipe. Takes a while but it works.

Big question is how much fule is in the tank ?
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

It’s a 16l tank, full. Cheers, I’ll get started early tomorrow

You can use a syringe to generate the vacuum to open the fuel tap

Suck on the vac line then use Mole grips to clamp the line near the tap when the fuel starts flowing.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
