Another one.

Meet No.7 no room in the garage now. ImageImageImage
I had one of these 25 years ago (last photo) and always regretted selling it. So I purchased this fine 1991 Image
example. One owner from new with service history and receipts to back it up. ImageImage

Great bike I had one of those in the 90s,but I always thought it would be a better bike with shaft drive, and no rads to leak is a bonus.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

Wow that FJ looks clean and tidy condition Duffy, quite a contrast change from Cruella though
It will be interesting to hear what you think of the bike after all those years of thinking how much you missed the FJ :?:

I hope it's as good as you are remembering them,

Chris.

Cruella will be going when the FJ is sorted as I’m missing the grunt.
It’s a nice honest bike and been maintained really well.
Well after 25 years I plan a few modifications like wider wheels for modern rubber and R1 callipers. It pulls like a train and makes me grin, so memories are flooding back. Image

I briefly had an 1100 as a works bike...Till some numptie ''unemployed scrap metal pikey'' wrote it off pulling away from outside the benifits office in his pikey truck...

One smashed FJ... One broken arm & 40 stitches in a gash on me leg...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

I had an 1100 for quite a while.....though mine still had the 16" front wheel...talk about a core workout.....lol
And the anti-dive system was pretty iffy..... but she did pull like a train

Yeah lucky mine hasn’t got the anti dive or a 16” front wheel as it’s the last generation of the FJ1200.
I have purchased some R1 blue spot callipers for a front brake upgrade and I’m looking at ditching the ABS to fit a wider 3.5 rim as opposed to the standard 3.0 and also fit a 17” rear wheel to give better tyre choice and improve the handling a fair bit. The standard rims were made for cross ply so an upgrade to modern radial tyres in a sensible improvement. Image
