Agree no Hydraulic tensioners on VTR's. That must some kine of generalised instructions. I don't know as I not read them.

Chris.

i turned mine over about 200 times before i pressed the start button, i was "cacking" myself. it started a treat, ran lovely and after 7000 miles haven't adjusted it once.

Well, I promised photos, so here they are!

Massive thanks to Carl for his brilliant write up on how to fit CCT's - the daunting task that it seemed to be, was made 100 times easier with his help - thanks fella :-)

Is the Kitchen in the Garage or Garage in the Kitchen.

I see you have plastic end cap missing on the front faring bracket/stay. Check you still have the balance weights inside the tubes where the mirrors attach. They help reduce vibrations.

The garage has my sisters old kitchen units in it as my work bench!

And I just went and checked the bracket - both end caps are there  ...just the photo makes it look like one is missing!!!

And it continued a little today...

Image

And then after checking the head bearings (and finding they're still spot on), I painted the bottom yoke!

Image

And fitted the re-painted side stand...

Image

Next job will be to do fork seals, and clean the front wheel up!

Just lower fairing to go on, and a bar end to get (if anyone has a spare + bolt, let me know!!) and then an MOT at the end of the week!!

Think it must be time for a beer!

Cheers for all your help
