my 99 storm for very reluctant sale.

Post by mr-jeff »

Hey guys,
I've been away for a bit but now I'm back and not with good news :(
I have very reluctantly decided to part with my storm  just before christmas my car terminally broke down and was carted off to the scrappy. For the past month i have been toing and froing from work in borrowed cars and blagged lifts. But its got to a point now where no car means no work :x so very reluctantly i am being forced to part with my bike to raise funds for a replacement bore box!!.
I've tried to hold out but now out of options I've not really got much choice.
So thought I'd post up here before evilbay etc in the hopes that someone who will appreciate her will want her before she goes anywhere else.
I'll get some new pictures on here on monday if the weather picks up. Until then there are a few pics in my other posts.

1999 storm in the best colour. :D
35620 ish miles
Fair condition (not showroom but not a bucket either)
Pair of leo vince sbk cans
Chain and sprockets, cush rubbers and rear pads all changed at end of last summer (courtesy of mr macv2)
Still on auto ccts but these were changed last year also.
Does need a new rear tyre.
Chain needs adjusting as I've not got round to doing it recently.
Is due a good service.
Pricewise i was thinking about £900 but if its to anyone through here then the sensible offers still apply.
Pm me or post up if interested please.
Cheers
Jeff

I'm sorry you need to sell your bike Jeff, but I can see why you need to.

Can you please add a price Jeff to keep in with the forum rules, we don't allow sensible offers only anymore, sorry,

Chris.

It's a shame,if I was in the same position it would be the same outcome. If needs must then it would have to go.Take another look at the situation later on when things pick up hopefully

I have a mate looking for a storm, I'll ask him, but I need a price to tell him what you want for it.

Got any recent pics?

I will be gutted to see her go and will definitely buy another storm as soon as my wallet allows me.
