Personally I wouldn't take a chance when it comes to brakes, but I expect some will,

... It's actualy good stuff ?

Most of what we buy is made in china as it's cheaper to make there* & ship it half way round the world... Bike manufacturers dont make all the small stuff, electronics ect. Just like cars stuff is bought in from external suppliers...

Ever noticed the branding on the Storms water hoses ? It's somethigh like Yamashit... I kid you not.

Stuff for the big brands is made in the same factories just has a diffrent logo on it.

* Cheaper labour rates & children have smaller hands for the delicate stuff...

Just because it dosen't have made in China stamped on it dosen't mean it's not made there...

I know what you mean Mac, it's just that with bike named manufactures such as the big four, we assume (rightly or wrongly) the products they use are built to a certain standard, a quality that is acceptable by the bike manufactures.

Looking at the photo's in that link, the bracket used to support the brake/clutch reservoir looks like an after thought by using one of the clamp fixing bolts as an anchor, that alone doesn't inspire me with confidence :eh:
