Koso heated grips

Post by Nosepicker »

I'm sure this has been done a thousand times before, but I would like to contribute a bit so here it goes - I think :confused :D
Quality wise Oxford has always been my choice when it came to heated grips, but I have never been to keen on the thermostat/controller unit.
So I'm gonna try these Koso's out. Please let me know if anyone here has experience - good or bad - with them.

Grips and control unit fitted - no screaming or use of hammers so far :D

All done - and they actually work. Might reward myself with a chilled beverage

How much fatter than normal grips?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Is there an inline fuse with this system?

They look really neat!
Better than the Oxfords in my opinion. I like the way the controller is hidden in the loom and the switch is integrated into the grip.
I've just had a look at the specs and I see they come with an inline fuse, auto shut off much the same as the oxfords. If they last as well I think Oxford will have some competition the next time I need a pair :D

They're about 5mm (diameter) on the chubby side compared to the ones I binned :D
