New owner - new rider

Post by TePe »

Hello.
Got my first bike ever last friday.
I decided to go with a firestorm after talking to a friend quite a bit over a few bikes.
Anyway, I'm 43, never been on a bike before a nd I absolutely love it.
The sound is amazing.
NOT my favourite colour as I'm an Evertonian.

Fingers crossed for a warm and dry autumn.

Tommy

Hello Tommy, welcome to the forum.Lots of advice (and pi55 taking) here from a friendly lot. :wave:If The cct's look to be auto's,so change them for manuals as they can fail whatever mileage is on the bike and destroy the top end of the engine.Instructions how to change them are on forum in the welcome page ithink.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

welcome tommy. nice looking bike,

its an impressive 1st roadbike……… but good news is they are fairly easy to ride, but the speed can be deceptive until you need to stop in a hurry 8O

have fun and take care

Thank you and I agree completely about the speed :)

But I'm a careful driver, (so far) and try to enjoy the surroundings as I go.
