Last Commute.

Post by MacV2 »

Well thats it my last day of traipsing up to Greenwich.

Bit chilly in the morning & a few spots of rain...

Few more weeks & the winter gear would have been out.

Slow ride in as fuel was a bit low...Got there with 105miles showing on the Odometer... Found a Shell station on the way home bit of a que & they only had V-power... @ bloody £152.p p/l..robbing bastids...

Mellowed it home parked up @ 13.30...

Thats it I'm done...

So as I have handed in my works mobile, having deleated all the VTR contacts !

Any one who has my mobile number... 07946393738 ... delete from your phones or order pizzas/cabs/hookers ect

Mac, I didn't know you were retiring, you never mentioned anything, and yes Mac you do need to get a smart phone, then you can keep up to date easier with the latest group messages, like deposits etc
Hopefully I'll be following on in both of your foot steps at some point soon, possibly summer next year. Don't worry Al, I'm sure we'll find plenty of bike trips away, I'm already looking at touring Europe.
I actually did 6,000 miles in 4 months this year, and I'm still at work, so God knows what millage I'll do when I finish :D

I'm only bloody 57 ! Still got a few years in me yet.

Just took the opertunity to finish early, grab some money, take a bit of a rest whilst not being spannerd for a change...

Still amazes me that I didn't get the tin tack a while back...

Prob gonna look for something part time & local to keep me afloat & able to run a Storm or 2...

I took early retirement in 2005 and have not done a days paid work since then. But there's only so much bargain hunt you can take. The only trouble i have found with retirement is that you never get to take a day off. :D Enjoy the rest of your life Mac.

105 miles sounds good!
VTR doesn't like V-power?
Maybe I should sack my mechanic.
