Bennyhedges (Martins) bench

Post by cheekykev »

Just to let you all know about Martins bench, Bennyhedges, Martin, Benny, vvtr, however you remember him.
While we were at the Wales meeting, I called round to his bench to pour a can of beer over it, just like I do every year.
Unfortunately it had gone missing.
After spending about an hour asking local people around the tennis courts, and bowling green, the mystery started to unfold.
The local people were very helpfully, and put a lot of effort into trying to track it down.
Eventually I found out it had been taken back to the camp site, but at the opposite end.
So to get to it now, you enter the camp site, turn right and continue up where the statics are, you'll find his bench right at the very top end on the left, at the side of the river, the good news is, it still looks good, and families are using it.
Like what you do
Do what you like

Kev, it sounds like you had to become Sherlock homes to track it down this year, but well done for finding git

BUT how did the families react when you pored a can of beer over their picnic?
