Had a visit from Michaela today... She dragged Jonesey along for the ride.

Ok Jonesey has been trying to get a local florist to sort a wreath out but apparently none of them could do it for Monday.

Johns sister has said shes not doing flowers anyway...

Shame as I had suggested VTR in HRC colours it would have been nice...

Jonesey had also asked her if he could say a few words but thats a no go as well as all the speaking berths are taken, the service is only so long...

So I'll throw this out for an idea... I will arrange, all being well after consultation with his cricket pals, a John Hepburn Memorial Trophy...The Wicky Cup.

It wont be a cheap & nasty plastic job from a key cutting shop...Watch this space...

Finaly meet up for the ride up times remain the same but we will stop off at the Stadium sevices J28* on the A12/A120 interchange to meet up with Jonsey & Michaela & whoever else wants to meet there.

So meet up at J28 /M25 Brook Street Shell services 10.30 ish with the intention of leaving at 11.00. Next stop Stadium services j28/A12 ETA 11.40. From there to Wickys is 20 mins so plenty of time to grab a coffee & a bun prior to leaving...

Well thats plan A anyway...

* Dont know if it's just a hicup at my end but the postcodes given for both the BP station & the mcd's both put you now where near the spot...mcd's sends you north...BP sends you south of the actual spot you want... :confused Anyway it's J28 on the A12... However Cuckoo Farm Way
COLCHESTER CO4 5XY does seem to work & frome there to Wickys is about 20 mins...

Thanks for the details Mac and Jonesey.

Depending on how the morning goes, I'm hoping to join you guys to say farewell.

But please don't wait if I'm not at the Stadium services by 11:40.
