What are you drinking- right now

Post by tony.mon »

A lovely new thread for folks to give us a minute buy minute update on the current lockdown liver pickle.

I'll kick off with a Brampton's Brewery "Jerusalem".
We've been supporting our local breweries by buying a mixed case from around the country; yesterday we finished off a very nice Skye brewery delivery, so it's onto the Brampton's.

My home brewed Stout is now cleared and ready, so just had a wee preview..very full bodied!
Off out to the workshop tonight to set up the still to run 5 gallons of brew to make gin, orange and cardamom with a hint of black pepper in thearomatics basket, should get a few litres of 90 proof to cut to 40.

Home made Rose wine, nice and dry and about £1.40 a bottle to make!
Love it.
Next lot I’m going to make will be Sauvignon Blanc, can’t wait :D

Hobgoblin for me tonight. Cheap and cheerful, but it hits the spot.
