The suspension is a mix of different bikes.
The swinger is from a 88-90 early RGV250 (VJ22a), the rim/brake from the later 91+ VJ22b.
The front originated from a Cagiva Mito I, but with a 6 pot caliper from a YZF750.

Nowadays I wouldn't use the Mito stuff but some late 90's R6 or GSXR 600.

If you like such hybrids, have a look for the annual Air Cooled club (AC RD) meeting in Derby.

If it's for pics from past times, I'd have several 2 strokes to offer like a KX500 and KTM360 Supermoto or my kart track RD.
For a few years I also owned a RD500.

Done around 225.000km since 1987 with it.

People who are in the RD scene will probably know my RD350 & 500 tuning manuals.
Sorry I just spotted the 225000km ... thats 140,000miles for us lot .... wow. how many sets of rings

The only 2 stroke I ever had was a BSA Bantam Major 150cc.I passed my test on that like Mac in the days of the clipboard examiner.I sold that and bought a Triumph Bonneville shortly after my test. Can't find any pictures.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

I have two 2 stroke projects I need to start. One is a 1958 BSA Bantam Trials bike which is in bits in my loft Image

The other one is a Yamaha DT125 LC Mk1 10v which I was given this year after it had stood for 22 years. Image

It’s going to need a major restoration, but I have had it running and it’s all original.

Had loads of two strokes over the years
Fizzy, RD50, YB100, GT250, two X7’s, RD250LC, DT175MX, AS50, RD250C, Sherco 250, Montesa Cota 348, and about 5 Puch Maxi’s ImageImageImage

Actually it contains kind of cheating. It is the bike I originally bought.
Just that due to proper trashing and accidents every single part including the frame had to be exchanged over the years...

If you liked the pics, check out my YouTube channel.
There's some sins of the past to be found :

Duffy, that yam might take a lot of work, but will be a cracking little bike when it's done.

Martin, you just described "Triggers Broom". Not sure if only fools and horses ever made it to Germany, but you can google it

Fabio,
You look 12 in that photo on the yellow LC
