Nice find! Given the choice, I'd go back to the Silver fairings actually.
After Ole Red was written off. I bought Dropper the Yella one... I ended up swapping the yellow plastics to Steve97 for a black fairing. I had the tail fairing & a seat cover in Black. I managed to find a black tank...excelent now the Yella one is Black...

Then Jamie came along '' would you be intrested in a swap Your Black for my Silver ?''

So it was a deal done the yella one was now Silver which then went on Ebay c/o Murv who had his one on the bay on a ' Buy it Now ad ' he sold his quite quickly & we just kept the add running with my Silver one on it instead... SOLD it.

The VTR1000.org merry-go-round...

Adjusted some chains...

Gave The Murvinator's chain a smothereing of chain lube as it was very dry... Aparently Murvs chain routine was a once a year lube !!!

Gave its rear wheel a bit of a clean...It's gonna need a good days cleaning & detailing at the moment it's a 20 paces bike, up close you notice the grob.

Yesterday .
Picked up some wheels .
Made the castle nut locking ring tools to remove the engine and swing arm .
Removed the engine and started the clean up .
Bike hut chain cleaner for push bikes from Halfords works great by the way at cleaning up an engine 👍

Managed to finally fix my healtech gear indicator.

It was powered and seemed to be learning the gears but didn't learn past gear 1.

Finally tried another connection block which was hidden within the plastic protector and it is now working perfectly.

The instructions are not clear enough.

Do not connect to the green plugs, the white plugs are the correct ones.

No bike (yet).

Rode it to work, with a small parcel strapped to the back... Bits for Jamoi...A saddle amongst other things hence the size.

Nice & secure a bit cramped tho, me plumbs were a bit squashed...

No bins but there is a Rat bait box in the background...
