ferry booked ... will do the cairnryan one this year so we will all be on the same boat. I will plan on getting up to Scotland on Thursday night and stopping with Vivien.

oh, and I have decided to use Normans KTM 1190 Adv for all storm meetings this year, so I have joined the Firestorm traitors club now :(

It could be that all the rule changes might just be in time to make this happen .... As long as Scotland opens its borders to allow us to travel to the ferry port for unlimited excercise.

Chink (have to get a cv 19 ref in there somewhere) of light at the end of the tunnel I hope.

Or will we be treated like contaminated foreign lepers by the locals when we land 8O

Think the main issue is accomodation.....I mean we would need to hire a field...

Sorry been a while since I have posted!

"Holiday parks, self-catering properties and caravan parks may open earlier than 20 July, said the minister, depending on scientific advice".

That looks more promising, though...

Update: holiday accomodation can open in NI from 26 June, pubs and restaurants from 3rd July.
Staying overnight is possible. Two households can meet indoors or outdoors.
Groups of up to six who are not in the same household can meet while socially distancing outdoors.
But still 2 metres for now.

So, Ken and I are fine in the Annexe together. But we'll have to push the beds apart.
You four in the main house will have to draw straws as to who has to put up a tent instead!

Places of worship can now open- so that's Ducati, Aprilia and KTM dealerships, I assume?

We're getting nearer to a "go".......

I'm afraid the Gentlemen of Tynedale have cancelled this trip. Whomever goes, please have fun for us.
